The English side are planned to play their final two group matches at Wembley Stadium, but, if they top their group, their last-16 tie would occur at Newcastle’s St James’ Park. Finishing second would mean commencing the playoffs at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The championship was inaugurated at an gathering in central London on the previous evening. Key representatives from European football’s governing body and the organizing bodies were barracked as they arrived the site by around fifty pro-Palestine demonstrators, who demanded the Israeli team to be expelled from global football because of the situation in Gaza.
Banners were raised with messages reading “Show Israel the red card” and “You are complicit”, while protesters called out: “Kick Israel out.”
