Outrage as Beloved South African DJ Gunned Down in Johannesburg.
A prominent South African radio and club DJ has been shot dead in the country's largest city Johannesburg, causing national outrage across a country battling entrenched crime.
Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, was attacked in the central business district on Tuesday afternoon.
Officials stated the 40-year-old entertainer was accosted by three suspects, with one opened fire on him before escaping on foot.
The reason behind the attack remains unclear and no suspects have been apprehended have been made, according to authorities.

Authorities said that Stock was ambushed as he was exiting a premises in the vicinity of the city center landmark.
He had devoted time at the property managing the implementation of security systems, which had been illegally inhabited by squatters, according to reports.
"Authorities believe the man was approached by three unidentified men after he parked his car, and they shot at him before running from the location on foot," authorities said.
CCTV footage reportedly depicted a individual with dreadlocks and clad in what resembled a guard's attire opening fire on Stock before fleeing.
The DJ attempted to flee after he was wounded but succumbed to his injuries a short distance away.
